Piano Tuning

Hi, I'm Nathan. I've been tuning pianos since 2019 and I am a 2nd generation piano tuner. When I was a toddler my father would take me to watch him tune pianos all around the North State. Here's an article written about us. The best decision I ever made was to take up his business and learn all I could from him.

Music is my greatest passion in life. I love pianos. Behind every piano there is a personality, a story, and an adventure.

It is truly such a blessing to give the gift of music to my clients.

In addition to fixing pianos, I also love to perform! Music is my favorite thing to do, so I've been playing in bands for over 15 years. I love to play Jazz, Irish Music, and more.

FAQs

  • Typically 2 hours. If your piano is in good condition, then less. If it hasn’t been tuned in over a decade, then closer to 3 hours.

  • Yes! I will fix any sticking keys while tuning. Free of charge!

  • Unfortunately no. Player pianos are often built with old technology that’s hard to come by. You would need to find a technician who’s a specialist in restoring player pianos. They are a very rare breed and usually very expensive.

  • Usually, Yes! Most players have accessible strings and tuning pins. However, I can’t tune the player pianos that have their machinery in the way without stripping the machine (they’re usually broken anyways).

  • Yes! More information about that here!

  • If you live in Redding, there is a non-profit piano moving organization that can help rehome your piano or get you a piano for free. It is called Redding Piano Angels. Let me know if you receive a piano from them, as I will give a discount.
